to give emotional support animals (dogs, cats) the same status as a service dog.

What the petition asks

A emotional support animal is a animal that lives with a person with anxiety, ptsd, depression and people with social anxiety. the ESA accompanies the person wherever they go to reduce stress, anxiety or episodes of social anxiety and need it to be made compulsary to allow access to all buildings
assistance dog owners have important rights under the Equality Act 2010 (EA). The EA provides for people with disabilities to have the same right to services supplied by shops, banks, hotels, libraries, pubs, taxis and restaurants as everyone else. It is against the law for service providers to treat people with disabilities less favourably because of their disability, or because they have a guide or assistance dog with them. this should be the same for emotional support cats & dogs.
