What the petition asks
On 13th October 2016, UNESCO, passed a draft resolution denying Jewish connections with The Temple Mount. This resolution is inherently Anti-Semitic We call on the Government to condemn the resolution and suspend payments to UNESCO until its charter revokes any further racist abuse.
Jerusalem is mentioned 806 times in the Old Testament. The Temple Mount was the the site to which Abraham took Isaac was the home to five Jewish Temples, and has been the focal point of Jewish prayers since.
The Palestinians have a long history of abusing UN bodies in an attempt to deligitimise Jewish claims to The Holy Land.
This latest resolution at UNESCO is not only Anti-Semitic in challenging the fundamental belief of Jews but also challenges the fundamental basis of Christianity
