Tougher penalties for animal cruelty

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Tougher sentences for ALL animal cruelty, from domestic pets to wild animals.
People need to be made accountable and face real punishments and those who don't report animal cruelty should be also punished

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask for a specific minimum jail sentence for certain kinds of animal abuse.
