What the petition asks
To remove Cllr Holland from office as he is in breach of the fundamental right of freedom of speech through his petition: "Amend the Treason Felony Act to make supporting UK membership of the EU a crime."
This petition is a clear example of disrespect of peoples' human rights and it is not suitable for a member of parliament to advocate the destruction of democratic principles. We the signatories' demand the petition to be ignored, Cllr Holland to step down from parliamentary duties and a public apology for the complete disregard of democratic principles.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for removing local councillors from office.
