What the petition asks
Babies and toddlers are unable to consent to having their ears peirced and don't understand what this entails. For the sake of parents selfish vanity, babies and toddlers are being subjected to unnecessary pain and risk of infection.
Any other form of inflicting pain on a child is illegal and this should be no different.
Babies and toddlers are also unable to understand how to carefully look after a peircing and this can often result in issues with jewellery and infection.
