What the petition asks
On 13th October my Bright Blue Triumph Bonneville was wrecked by a car driver who accelerated through and bounced my whole motorcycle into the outer lane of the roundabout. The drivers response was "I didn't see you"! I was wearing a red jacket, and orange back pack. The visibility was good!
The local police force stated that as no injuries were sustained it was not going to be followed up. (Bruising doesn't count)
Families should not have to lose a loved one before car drivers are held to account for carelessness!

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure how you would like "careless drivers" to be defined. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
