What the petition asks

Of the 19 residents who died due to safeguarding failures at Orchid View care home 5 of those deaths were due to neglect. This was stated by the coroner. The families of those five victims, and the other 14 victims, have fought for a Public inquiry.

Today - October 20th 2016, the families learned from Under Minister David Mowat that their request for a Public Inquiry has been turned down. They remain committed to seeking justice for their lost loved ones, they remain committed to seeking a public inquiry.
