Stop car insurance companies ripping people off especially younger drivers!

What the petition asks
Car Insurance is a legal requirement therefore companies should not be able to exploit everyone and squeeze as much profit out of us as possible! there should be a cap on prices or a completely basic government insurance cover!
Young drivers are discriminated against as being careless drivers, when in fact they feel a sense of achievement when they can finally afford their own car and are bound to be more careful and vigilant than people that have been driving for 10+ years are over confident and take it for granted!
Minimum wage for an 18 year old is £5.55, which means they would have to work at least 435 hours to afford the average car insurance price of £2232.Excluding the vehicle and running costs
