What the petition asks
BBC News reporting helps indulge propaganda. Two areas specifically come to mind - firstly BREXIT - so much unbalanced negative reporting. This also happens on other news subject matters too. Palestinian/Israeli/Gaza conflicts where reporting is biased towards the Palestinians. Just two examples.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. It is not clear who would be responsible for deciding that the BBC was not unbiased, or how they would decide this.
You could start a new petition calling on the Government to create BBC bias guidelines, which, if broken, would then result in the abolishment of the TV license.
