Force VW (UK) to re-map owners cars to Original Factory settings if Requested

What the petition asks

Owners have experienced Increased engine noise
Increased DPF regeneration
Increased Fuel Consumption oten as much as 10%
Decreased Power. at lower speed (town driving)

in some cases engine damage has occured as a result of the New Emissions recall software. costing £1800-£2400 to repair.

some cars once programed with the new emissions recall software have experienced an engine rattle, mostly the 2.0TDI 140bhp. most noticable driving in town at 30mph. the increased DPF activity usually indicates more pollutants being produced. online experts say to reduce NOX emissions CO2 production will automatically be increased.

VW UK have refused when asked to revert the software to the original "factory settings". some have had this done and it has solved the problems listed above.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This would be a decision for Volkswagen, not the Government or Parliament.
