Create proper regulations on the production, sale and use of fireworks

What the petition asks
I am creating this petition on behalf of terrified pets and their humans. Years of moaning isn't good enough. Every year they get louder. And while I agree with celebrating the attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament I am sick of the suffering of our poor pets (and other animals)
While I would love an all out ban on the sale of fireworks to the general public it's never going to happen. Fighting a losing battle going for that. Some of the things that should be looked at are - the type of fireworks - volume of certain ones on sale to the public for example. Proper restrictions on when they can be purchased and used.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition detailing exactly how you would like the regulations for the production, sale and use of fireworks to be changed.
