What the petition asks
We the British public expect our representitives to have standards of integrity comensurate with their position in Government. We demand a vetting process which prevents MP's under criminal invesigation passing laws or judgements over others.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what minimum standards you would like to be applied, and how the vetting process could work.
