Currently school holidays excluding bank holiday days equate to 52 days off per year, those who work struggle to cover these dates using their holiday entitlement from work, even 2 parent families only get 40 days leave combined. Either raise entitlement to 26 days + bank hols per person or reduce school holidays by removing half terms to enable working parents to care for their children during the holidays
