What the petition asks

Parliament should never get the final say after a referendum result. Referendums should be reconised as the sovereign will of the people expressed by ballot and taken as a mandate for government to act in accordance with result, using royal prerogative power.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Change the law to make the result of referendums in the UK legally binding.
