Make it legal to stop ,and report it, if you have knocked over a cat

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

We would like the government to make it legal, that if you knock down a cat or kill a cat, when driving, you stop and report this, and we would would like cats to be included within the remit of the road traffic act, which means its a reportable incident
In the last 2 weeks in the south woodham ferrers there have been so many cats killed, by drivers, our cat was knocked over, and was moved, so it looked like he had strayed onto a main road. It seems there is no compassion, and if they can make this legal, and put it within the remit of the road traffic act, which includes (dogs, goat, horse, cattle, sheep) and is a reportable accident, so by law, you have to report it to the police
