Include Liquor permits in visa process for tourists to 'dry states' in India.

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

There are thousands of British tourists visiting India throughout the year. A lot of them visit 'dry states', such as Gujarat, where liquor is only available to those that hold a permit. Permits are only issued to tourists and it is becoming increasingly difficult to get hold of them.
The British Government can represent the thousands of British tourists in order to convince the Indian Government to make the whole process a lot simpler. This would probably increase revenue for the government ran liquor stores. The permit process is currently unclear and is proving difficult for many to get hold of.
