What the petition asks
Educate the public on the goings on of politics in the present, past and what might happen in the future. With the participation crisis we are having, it seems only logical that the education system seeks to educate people in an area in which people often feel too unsure to enter or take action.
Evidence for a participation crisis:
15% turnout in the 2012 PCC election.
66.1% turnout in the 2015 General Election compared to 83.9% in 1950.
