Allow the RSPCA to retain its powers to prosecute those who abuse any animal.

What the petition asks

A government committee suggests that the RSPCA should be stripped of its rights to prosecute those who abuse animals. They claim there is a "conflict of interest" between the charity's power to prosecute and its role to investigate a case. They've been in existence since 1824, so why now?
