What the petition asks
Nigel Farage is the former UKIP leader, led the Vote Leave Campaign and is an MEP for the South East England.
In his various roles Nigel Farage has demonstrated that he lacks the necessary integrity and idependence to meet the criteria for nomination to the House of Lords. As an MEP he accepted an annual salary of £64,000 despite having the worst attendance record of any serving MEP. His is currently under investigation by the European Parliament for using expenses to fund his campaigns to become an MP. As a member of the Fisheries committee he attended once out of a possble 42 meetings.
