What the petition asks
Social workers(S.W) are assigned to cases of to families they (S.W) have no idea about their culture, ethnic background, religion or family settings. For instance, they send white S.W to an African family whose culture, religion they don't understand and results in many kids being wrongly removed.
I have had the cases where the Hillingdon counsel have sent the wrong assessors to my house on a couple of occasions, only to be misunderstood/misrepresented. This is the same for many victims. S. W must remain neutral. If you send an atheist S.W to a religious family to work with them, or a person who has no idea about the families' believes and background, they end up working against them instead of helping them make the right choices for the welfare of the entire family, not just the kids.
