Petition · past parliament
The removal of both coursework and exams in A levels. It is too stressful

What the petition asks
I think that incorporating both exams and coursework in the new A Level is too much for us students. Especially for those doing essay based subjects such as English and History. Due to high stress levels, none of us are confident on passing. I feel this new criteria was created without us in mind.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure how you would like A-levels to be assessed, if both exams and coursework were to be removed.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. You'll need to give your full name to start a petition.
