What the petition asks
The first duty of any government is the defence of the realm and its people. The reports of the Commons Defence Select Committee and of Sir John Parker are ignored.
The Army Reserve is under strength.
In the UN we should be able to “Speak softly and carry a big stick”.

The Type 45's have not had their defects rectified. Our fleet is not able to defend our trade or undertake our world-wide duties.
The army is a militia. Personnel have despicably been made redundant immediately qualifying for pension. The RAF has too few A/C and no maritime reconnaissance capability.
