Brexit "Associate citizenship"individually opt-in to remain EU citizens

What the petition asks

On 23rd June 2016 the UK voted to leave the EU by 52% leave to 48% remain. Since the referendum some EU officials are proposing an opt-in fee payed option for UK citizens to retain their EU citizenship. Please support this petition to encourage the government to grant this option to UK citizens.
