Remove Philip Davies from the Women's and Equalities Committee
Rejected
20 signatures
What the petition asks
The Women and Equalities Committee plays a vital role in holding the Government to account. It is unethical that a person who has denied that violence against women and girls in the UK is a problem and wants to send more women to prison should be allowed to sit on this committee.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
