Ban pheasant shooting - a cruel, senseless 'sport'.

What the petition asks
Living in the countryside, we sadly witness repeated pheasant shoots taking place right before our eyes. Despite what they say, the pheasants more often than not die in a slow, painful manner often landing in our garden whilst still alive, in agony, dying slowly. This so-called 'sport' needs to stop.
Repeated pheasant shoots take place across the UK, but I am speaking from personal experience of it happening in North Lincolnshire, more often than not without any prior notice given.
The pheasants are bred, released into the surrounding area, then shot repeatedly by people who enjoy killing animals for fun.
The pheasants are often mauled while still alive by dogs and/or write in agony as they land on the ground.
This is inhumane and needs to be stopped as soon as possible.
