Make Immunotherapy available on the NHS

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

My 36 yr old friend, mother of 3 has a very rare small cell stomach cancer. In Aug she was given a terminal diagnosis and1yr to live. Recently she begun Immunotherapy treatment that has been funded by friends and family at a cost of almost £5k every 2wks. After 4 sessions, the treatment is WORKING!
This potentially life saving treatment could help terminal cancer sufferers. Most recently, AA Gill was refused this treatment by the NHS and he died after a short battle with lung cancer. Immunotherapy could have saved his life - the NHS refused to support him by funding. How many other lives are being denied access to this treatment? This treatment has shown a remarkable success in cancer patients. We need to fight for this, not just for my young friend - but for everyone who needs it.
