Petition · past parliament

Make abusing dogs a criminal offence and deserves jail time.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

We are all fed up of seeing defenceless dogs left to die in homes, abondened by owners and abused!

Owners have the sole responsibility of taking care of their dog(s) not as meat but part of them family.

If the owner seriously abuses their dog it should lead to jail time.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

It is unclear if you want a separate offence to be created for abusing dogs or the current penalties for animal abuse to be increased. If it is the latter, you may wish to sign this petition: Harsher Laws on Animal Cruelty offences In The UK. 3 Year Minimum Sentence.
