Give everyone the right to see a GP within 48 hours of making an appointment

Closed 119 signatures

What the petition asks

Many patients in the UK are waiting up to a month to get a routine GP appointment. This puts patients at risk, places an intolerable burden on A&E departments and undermines efforts at preventative healthcare. The government should set a target that everyone can see a GP within 48 hours of asking.
