Petition · past parliament
Bring England in line with the rest of the UK and stop NHS prescription charges.

What the petition asks
It is fundamentally unfair that citizens in England have to pay NHS prescription charges (currently £8.40) whilst in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland they are free. These charges raise less than 0.5% of the NHS budget so are negligible, we in England should receive parity with the rest of the UK
