Review the amount of time Children are losing in education due to strikes.

What the petition asks
The amount of strikes that have taken place throughout 2016 and now increasing into 2017 is beyond acceptable and is damaging my children's education.
I am also having to take unpaid leave from work or pay for extra childcare. If the schools charge the parents for unauthorised absence then we should be able to charge the school for our childcare or loss of earnings. As parents we need to protect our children's education. Please sign and share this petition so the Government have to take action.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure what you mean by "review the amount of time children are losing in education due to strikes". We're also not sure what action you would like the Government or Parliament to take to address your concerns about the costs of childcare and loss of earnings as a result of strike action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
