Closed 254 signatures

What the petition asks

In July 2016 it was announced that second stem cell transplants would not be routinely funded by NHS England. Around 74% of patients achieved complete remission after second transplant.

We must get this decision to be overturned to give people the second chance that they deserve

My farther was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis in 2013 at the age of 46! He had a stem cell transplant at the beginning of 2014, from stem cell donation from his brother. Unfortunately at the end of 2016 we where told that my farther had a relapse, the bone marrow transplant had not been success. Myelofibrosis is a serious bone marrow disorder that disrupts your body's normal production of blood cells.
