What the petition asks
Is it correct that soldiers are left homeless after fighting for our country? In 2013, up to 9,000 British heroes who served our country are homeless. This current government are under serving an impoverished population. This should be prioritised as this creates and increases a despondent underclass
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action. It's clear that are concerned about whether ex and current military soldiers have homes to live in. It is not clear what you would like to happen with the contracts.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking the Government to guarantee that ex and current military personnel have homes to live in.
