Call on PM to defend democracy, human rights & environment with President Trump

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

We ask our MPs to demand the Prime Minister show willingness to defend and uphold democratic process, human rights, and environmental protection with President Trump; act to advance human rights, welfare and the environment; and refuse to condone or cooperate with threats to these.
The coming days see the beginning of ongoing discussions between Prime Minister May and the President Trump. We have grave concerns over Mr Trump's immediate attacks on health care provision, reproductive rights, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, LGBT rights, racial equality, environmental protection
-- which we enjoy, protect and celebrate. We fear the PM will not seize this opportunity to stand up for these values in her ongoing communications with Mr Trump.
