Petition · past parliament

Withdraw from the 1975 EC agreement.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

I ask the Government overturn the 1975 contract of agreement with the EC as the Electorate were not made aware of the full implications of membership. It was never disclosed that the electorate were to forego their rights as granted under the Magna Carta. The electorate were misled.
The Magna Carta Grants rights, liberties and customs to the freeman. These were secretly signed away by the Government in 1975 under the guise of EC membership and replaced by the 1972 EC act. This was never agreed to by the electorate. They were deceived into accepting this. Any contract gained under deception is null and void and should be overturn by the Government.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
