What the petition asks

The current PM was not elected by UK citizens, General elections should take place before Article 50 is invoked so the UK citizens have a saying in who should lead the negotiations of the best leaving deal with EU

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

We want a General Election before the Government initiates Article 50.
