What the petition asks

With the U.S. being such a strong ally to the United Kingdom, we must ensure that the president, democratically elected by his country for his views on immigration, is allowed to make a state visit to the United Kingdom.
With the EU's attempts to make life difficult for this nation in Brexit, Trump's free trade deal offering to the United Kingdom is a strong hand to be able to play in our negotiations. We must ensure that despite peoples personal views on the President, our 2 nations move forward together.
