What the petition asks
Some low paid working families are having difficulties to find secured accommodation because they are not getting paid enough to buy a mortgage or getting a convenient, cheaper rent accommodation to schools and work. Local councils are not helping to make life easy for these groups of people.
''I am working day and night, but I'm in a situation where I will be homelessness soon'', No life out of work, not able to go to a local holiday because of high rent bills demands from private landlords. I want to work no depending on government hand out.
We are not asking for free accommodation but to pay a reasonable rent according to our earnings and able to buy food for our families.
