What the petition asks

It is morally wrong that one team no matter how successful should be allowed more viewing time than others. The likes of lower league teams are continually forced into playing well and forcing a replay for the BBC to react and show real grit and determination. Recent examples Lincoln City and Sutton
The telegraph confirms it is 56th game in a row, now if that is the case; should man united reach the final is 8 games per season. However they haven't always got to the final meaning that is 7-8 years in a row. How can this be fair. For the richest team in the world would it not be fair for teams like Sutton United or Lincoln City to earn some TV money ?

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
