What the petition asks
The NHS is on its knees. There is a gross under-investment by the government and giving free prescriptions to those who are able to pay is just compounding the situation.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the NHS in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
