What the petition asks

I want the Government to make local sports fields/pitches owned by any local councils FREE for use by junior sports teams (Under 18) and a Cap on the cost for Adult sports teams.

Councils are looking to earn money Instead of keeping our society fit and healthy!

2012/13 season...
Adults: £521 per team, per pitch
Junior: £191 per team, per pitch

2016/17 season
current charges..
Adults: £556 per team, per pitch
Junior: £215 per team, per pitch

The prices charged for pitches in Leeds goes up most years', meaning less and less Children can get involved with their local sports club as the price becomes a barrier for some families, especially those on low incomes or benefits.
