Make tools VAT exempt for PAYE employed tradesman

What the petition asks
Many workers employed in different trades are required to purchase and maintain their own hand tools and tool storage. It is unfair and unreasonable that there should be VAT levied on such items as they are not purchased for want but out of necessity
