What the petition asks
People who work for recruitment agencies get they're pay made by a 3rd party with somewhat large reductions for doing so.hence taking a large slice out of the workers net wages
All construction agencies try to pay via an umbrella company, hence if the worker works 60 hrs at 10pounds an hour,in the cold light of day the worker recieves 20-30percent in reduction of what they should be paid, hence lining the coffers of 3rd party umbrella companie
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition asking for the use of umbrella payment schemes to be banned, if that's what you would like to happen.
