What the petition asks

The people of Wakefield voted at just over 66% for Brexit. Mary Creagh has announced that she is voting against the bill to trigger article 50 and is doing this in the best interests of her constituants. She is completely ignoring the wishes of Wakefield again and acting in her own interests

In the last brexit related vote in Parliament on 8/12, Mary Creagh again disregarded what Wakefield Voted for and didn't even both registering her vote.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Whether or not to resign is a matter for an individual MP. The UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for removing MPs from office because of their views or opinions.
