Remove smart motorways with the use of speed cameras on gantries

What the petition asks

Smart motorways distract motorists. Drivers are spending more time looking at their speedos rather than the road and motorists are brake suddenly when approaching the gantries in the fear of being caught speeding which is also very dangerous.
An increase in speeding tickets does not relate to less deaths on the roads in Europe it is actually the other way around.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
