As misinformation over Brexit clears, MPs should take a new view on Europe vote

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

In the referendum on EU membership, the electorate was given much mis-information, and had the result been reversed, the leavers had said they would demand another vote. Changes in the world and the increasing possibility of a “hard Brexit” means there is a real threat to the stability of the UK
While there are undoubtedly imperfections in the EU which need correcting,
we demand two things.
1 That our MPs do their duty to protect the country and vote to continue membership of the EU.
2 That the EU becomes more responsive to the citizens of it's member states, and less to the self interest of those administering it. As an immediate demonstration of that intent, it stops it's money wasting migrations to Strasbourg.
We want our stable and inclusive country back.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This petition calls on the EU to take action. We can only accept petitions that call on the UK Government and Parliament to take action.
