NHS Walk-In medical centre for Ramsgate, Kent
Rejected
14 signatures
What the petition asks
A walk-in medical centre is needed in Ramsgate and the surrounding area. It will take pressure off doctor surgeries and hospital emergency services. This medical centre will be a great asset and of great benefit to Ramsgate and Thanet
This petition will seek support from Thanet District Council and local MPs before presenting it to the government
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The decision to open a walk in medical centre in Ramsgate is one for the Thanet Clinical Commissioning Group, not the UK Government. You can find out how to contact them here: http://www.thanetccg.nhs.uk/contact-us/
You could start a new petition asking for the UK Government to make the availability of walk in medical centres mandatory across England or to provide special funding for a walk in medical centre in Ramsgate.
