Persuade laundry appliance manufacturers to install safety sensor to save lives

What the petition asks

Research shows many children and pets have died or been injured in laundry machines. This is easily preventable in this day and age if manufacturers would invent and install a safety sensor to detect C02 or a heartbeat which immediately shuts down the machine or emits an alarm
