What the petition asks
At present it isn't illegal to put pictures of your children on dating websites/apps intended to facilitate sexual meets. There is nothing the police or social services can do if this occurs and persons use pictures of their children to aid their dating breaching the child's rights/privacy+safety.
As a mother who has recently had her children recognised in the street due to the father using pics of the children on online sex apps I want change.
I have spoken to the police and social services and it isn't an offence to use pictures on these post 18 sites.
It is illegal for children to have social media yet parents can put them in the public domain to help obtain sexual partners.
Legally! Please can we act together to get this discussed in parliament - children's safety is critical!
