What the petition asks
The NHS is overstretched and needs to use its resources as effectively as possible. This means we need to make sure the people who should be paying for their health treatment, are paying for it (i.e Non UK citizens who are not paying UK Tax or NI contributions)
We need this issue taken seriously as previous half hearted measures have simply not worked. Our NHS is in crisis and this is one of the major factors.
Emergency treatment is the only time when this should not apply, because we have to stay a passionate country. But minor injuries and surgery should always be charged when the patient is not a UK Tax and National Insurance payer.
