What the petition asks
Being made to look a certain way makes you feel discriminated against and put down, Having employers enforce their ''grooming guidelines'' to make you look ''normal'' when your CV and skills should be all that matters! discrimination against coloured hair ,piercings and tattoos should be ILLEGAL
Have you ever been told to dye Coloured hair that is outside the ''normal'' Blonde , brown , red , grey spectrum back to an ''acceptable'' colour. Been told to cover Visible tattoos, even tiny ones on ankles? Been made to ''tone down'' you ''look'' ? People can look how they want! People , clients and customers , like individuality. My employer is currently trying to make me tone down my look. and I am SICK OF IT. Unless your piercings are an actual risk to your health or others at work.
